POSITION SUMMARY

In a dynamic environment of continuous organic growth and acquisitions, the Senior Treasury Analyst position is based at the head office in Laval, Quebec, under the leadership of the Vice President Treasury. The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for i) providing support to the subsidiaries of Savaria Corporation in respect to their banking activities, ii) managing the banking platforms, iii) assisting the Vice President Treasury within the Corporate Treasury Service in leading the execution of cash management operations, monitoring the banking network, issuing various treasury reports and actively participating in ad hoc treasury projects.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or the equivalent. A related professional designation is considered an asset;
  • Working Experience: Five years of relevant experience in Global Treasury; including in managing a global banking platform and knowledge of the business processes. Operational accounting experience is considered an asset;
  • Skills: Detail oriented and focus on delivering results; Strong analytical skills, advanced command of Excel, including creation of reports, and ease with systems; excellent service-oriented communication, demonstrate rigor, autonomy and is proactive;
  • Language: Fluency in written & spoken English and French, Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • As the first level of treasury service to the subsidiaries, is responsible for:
  • Answering requests received through the internal treasury inbox;
  • Managing the various banking platforms; currently there are three banking platforms;
  • Act as a liaison between the global banking platform users and the banks.
  • Participate in treasury transactions, either by holding the role of preparing the supporting documentation or executing the transaction. Responsible for maintaining up to date the related Excel files and reports;
  • Monitor the global banking network and the centralization of funds in the USA;
  • Prepare treasury reports issued on various frequency;
  • Prepare the information relative to the monthly financial instruments renewal and participate in the decision-making;
  • Administer the Canadian and US credit cards programs;
  • Participate in the preparation of the quarterly compliance certificate as per the Credit Agreement;
  • Maintain up to date the debt follow-up analysis and provide assistance to the Chief Accountant of Savaria Corporation in the monthly closure of the financial statements regarding treasury-related matters;
  • Participate in various processes such as the budget, the external audit and the cash repatriation process within Savaria Corporation;
  • Actively participate in various treasury projects and in the development and continuous improvement of the treasury policies and procedures;
  • Provide assistance to the Vice President Treasury with ad hoc requests.
