Description:

At ZX Lidars we are quietly changing the world by solving problems with science and making a positive contribution towards the environment. We are ‘the’ pioneering Original Equipment Manufacturer of ‘Lidar’, Headquartered in Worcestershire and with further offices in Glasgow. Our team of pioneering innovators and experts (our ZX Family) designs, develops, produces, sells, and supports ground-breaking world leading products that have changed, and continue to change, the way wind is measured. In doing so, ZX Lidars has facilitated the acceleration of the development of wind projects around the world.
\r
We would love to hear from you if you would like to join one of these teams and contribute to our mission and vision to deploy Lidar technology on every commercial wind project globally, be disruptive and to make a difference.
\r
We are a future. Perhaps we are the future you are looking for too?
\r
We are currently looking for a Senior Turbine Lidar Performance Analyst to join the ZX Lidars arm of our business. Joining the Turbine Lidar Applications team, the successful candidate will be a core member of the team supporting and developing value propositions, methods and evidence base to harness and evolve the unique abilities that Continuous Wave (CW) lidar brings to turbine-mounted applications.
\r
As the successful candidate, you will be required to develop, to industry acceptance, the use of evolving lidar power performance methods using CW lidar measurements. These methods will build on, and may supersede, existing techniques e.g. as defined in the current IEC standards. Through specific turbine-lidar development projects the role will generate the steps, the processing and the evidence base (through case studies) to push new methodologies towards industry acceptance and best practice. The methods explored and developed should be compared to current industry thinking and aligned, where realisable, with complementary ZX lidar related metrics and approaches.
\r
