Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:

Proven experience working with Two-Way Radios (DMR, VHF, UHF), including programming, installation, and maintenance, with a focus on JVCKenwood and Motorola radios.

  • Technical Skills:

Proficiency with JVCKenwood DMR Radios and repeaters, and Motorola radios. Familiarity with radio systems, mobile base radios, and antenna tuning. Knowledge of software solutions like Smart PTT and ROIP.

  • Additional Experience (Optional):

Experience with CCTV and IP cameras, including system design and integration.

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Two-Way Radio & Wireless Communications Technician / Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hitech Communications Ltd. This role involves designing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge wireless communication systems, particularly in the areas of Two-Way Radio, DMR, VHF, and UHF technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges and possess strong technical expertise in radio communications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Radio System Design & Installation:

Design and install Two-Way Radio/Wireless Communication systems, with expertise in JVCKenwood (DMR, UHF, VHF) and Motorola radios.

  • Programming & Commissioning:

Program and commission JVCKenwood Digital Radios, Motorola radios, and repeaters. Install mobile base radios on vehicles, ensuring effective antenna tuning and optimal system performance.

  • System Maintenance & Support:

Maintain and provide technical support for existing radio systems, ensuring high uptime and functionality.

  • Integration with Third-Party Software:

Install and configure third-party applications, such as Smart PTT, ROIP solutions, and integrate these with radio systems for enhanced communication functionality.

  • Project Management:

Lead and coordinate various projects involving the installation and commissioning of Two-Way Radio systems, including repeaters, antennas, and related hardware, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.

  • CCTV/IP Camera Systems (Optional):

Design, configure, and implement CCTV, Door Access, and Security Alarm systems, providing technical support for video management servers (VMS), video recording servers (VRS), and video analytic servers (VAS).
