WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Fortnite Gameplay UI team is looking for a User Interface (UI) Programmer who is passionate about games and well-versed in C++, UI development, gameplay systems, and console development. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work on impactful systems to help players have the best in-game experiences in Fortnite.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Work closely with artists, designers, and other programmers to ensure that UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements
- Writing robust, extendable, and maintainable code
- Architect, plan, and implement new UI systems
- Optimize and fix bugs in existing systems
- Integrate backend and gameplay systems in support of the player experience
- Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development
- Collaborate with the cross-discipline team on cutting-edge features that support player experiences across Fortnite
