JOB TITLE: SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER

Job Summary:
The Senior UX/UI Designer role is tailored for a visionary eager to blend aesthetics with functionality. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our design efforts, creating user experiences that are intuitive and visually engaging. Your work will demonstrate a profound understanding of user needs, anchored in a meticulous process of requirement gathering and committed to system and design thinking. You will work closely with project managers, team leads, developers, and business analysts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a collaborative and integrated approach to design that aligns with our strategic objectives and delivers exceptional results. You will contribute to public sector projects focused on digital transformation by designing case management portals, internal portals, e-services, and informative websites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with agency experience.
• Demonstrated familiarity with information architecture and design systems, notably Material Design and Fluent Design.
• Good understanding of technology stacks, such as SharePoint, Sitefinity, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in conducting design workshops and focus group discussions.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Lead UX/UI design projects from conception through to execution, aligning with user needs and business goals.
• Employ advanced design systems, such as Material Design and Fluent Design, to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital platforms.
• Engage in requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, accurately capturing project objectives and user needs.
• Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and help groom the product backlog.
• Collaborate with researchers to synthesize research insights that will be utilized in the design phase.
• Develop wireframes and design concept proposals after understanding and building the requirements.
• Leverage your wealth of UX knowledge to advise customers on the approach and design proposals.
• Occasionally propose service blueprints and logic flows to understand business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with developers and the BA team to ensure design and business requirements are met.
• Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes, refining designs based on user feedback.
• Facilitate design workshops and focus group discussions, gathering insights and fostering a collaborative design process.
• Tackle design challenges using critical thinking to develop solutions that are innovative and practical.
• Build design strategy proposals for pitches when needed.
• Present your proposals and ideas to stakeholders and customers.
• Share your learning experiences with the design team from time to time.
• Mentor and assign tasks to junior designers, ensuring the success of the project.
