Description:
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new business and renewals of high complexity which align with our underwriting strategy , authority levels and service standards.
- Provide exceptional service to our customers and handle key portfolios/accounts with intermediaries.
- Strengthen relationships with all stakeholders to deliver business retention, growth, and profitability targets.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current legislation, best practice, underwriting, systems, products, and organisational guidelines.
- Focus on increasing and sharing knowledge of QBE capability, risk appetite and products as well as brokers’ operations to strengthen our delivery of innovative solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, development, and mentoring of Underwriters, Trainees and Assistant Underwriters where required .
- Monitor and communicate activity within your portfolio, brokers and market peers and report on opportunities and risks to improve results.
