Description:
Catalyx is seeking a Senior Utilities Engineer to work on our customer site based in Cork.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering of utility systems.
- Experience working with both GMP and Non-GMP Utilities.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, steam, and water treatment systems.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot utility system issues.
- Experience in managing maintenance and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all utility systems on site while also ensuring a maintenance programme is in place as well as managing corrective maintenance activities and identifying replacement utilities capital.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of maintenance and engineering professionals responsible for the maintenance of utility systems.
- Provide technical expertise in the maintenance and engineering of utility systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs for all utility systems.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new utility systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot utility system issues.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget for all utility systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of utility systems.
