Description:

Join our Macquarie Electronic and Mobile team who are behind our Digital Banking Experience. Working alongside the Design Lead, and with support from the Head of UX and UI, you will contribute to bring to life future-facing features and offerings, helping Macquarie achieve our goal of becoming the #1 Digital Bank.
This is a 12-month contract.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
What role will you play?
Use your UX and UI design skills to understand the problem space and design customer-centred solutions through iteration, experimentation, and validation. We have recently reached a significant milestone and are looking to take the platform to the next level.

What you offer

  • 5+ years working as a UX and UI Designer or Product Designer including experience conducting UX research and usability testing
  • Thrive in a collaborative team, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your UX and UI or Product Design experience - we’d like to see experience where you have previously shipped digital products while working in a multi-disciplinary collaborative team
  • Strong problem solving and a passion for design as well as being committed to best practice and sharing ideas and inspiration within the team
  • End-to-end experience managing design activities across the user-centred design process.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you’re excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
About Banking and Financial Services
Banking and Financial Services is our technology-driven retail bank. You will be part of a team that supports clients to achieve their full potential - whether that’s buying a home, growing a business or investing to manage wealth.
