Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on complex, data-driven platforms.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or a similar role
- Strong creative design skills. Must be aware of latest design trends. Strong portfolio of design projects.
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Proficient in design software usage – Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD is what we use in-house
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is desired; JavaScript awareness is a plus
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Analytical mind with a business acumen
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead UX projects from concept to completion.
- Any prior experience of working in the cyber security domain would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a consistent design language across Fortinet products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the platform’s UX aligns with the overall product vision and security objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into the design process and iterate on solutions that meet user and business needs.
- Design interfaces that accommodate the needs of diverse user groups, including those with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Design data visualizations that present complex security data in an understandable and actionable format across all platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience and address pain points.
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
- Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs, ensuring they effectively communicate design concepts and functionality to stakeholders.
- Convert wireframes and prototypes into high-fidelity visual designs that align with the overall brand and design guidelines.
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers.
- Lead and mentor junior UX designers on the team, sharing best practices and guiding the overall UX strategy
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX design; Apply knowledge to improve and innovate the platform continuously.
