Capital.com is looking for a Senior UX Researcher that will lead different research projects aimed at improving the trading experience of our users with relevant data and content. The successful candidate will contribute with impactful user insights to increase user acquisition, retention and engagement in the Capital.com app from registration all the way to account funding.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in engaging with diverse markets
  • Being fluent in English. Proficiency in Arabic would be an additional advantage
  • Strong experience as a user researcher
  • Expert-level experience of planning, conducting, analysing and communicating research, with a focus on ensuring user insights are acted upon promptly
  • Extensive experience with different types of research projects: both generative vs evaluative research
  • Strong understanding and experience of a range of user research methods, when to use them, and how to apply them correctly. This includes both qualitative and quantitative methods such as usability testing, user interviews, workshop and surveys
  • Experience of quantitative research methods and product analytics to find digital trends and understanding user behaviour
  • Ability to define key metrics with stakeholders and evaluate project success
  • Confidence at presenting user research and promoting UX principles and championing the voice of the customer
  • Experience working to strict deadlines and on different projects over a period of time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful & actionable findings to key stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Commercial)
  • Conduct both generative and evaluative research studies across different markets (e.g. Middle East, Asia, Europe, etc..)
  • Create research plans and scripts that adapt to timeline constraints
  • Plan and perform qualitative research methods, such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and workshops
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers and marketing/commercial stakeholders to plan and run research studies
  • Analyse and translate qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights
  • Communicate results and recommendations in clear and compelling ways to inform the design and support the product strategy
  • Make sure the user insights are embedded, actioned and prioritised in the Product and Marketing roadmap
  • Work closely with the Data Team to build an understanding of customer behaviour to measure the performance of our products
  • Work with the Director of Research to create a user centric culture and embed the user voice in strategic planning and scoping sessions
  • Engage stakeholders from different departments (e.g. Engineers, Marketing, Commercial team) in the user research process to help them familiarise and empathise with user insights
  • Manage the logistical aspects of research planning (e.g. scheduling research sessions, recruiting participants)
  • Proactively identify product opportunities to explore with users
  • Collaborate to review and maintain the UX Research framework/process to drive efficiency in the research activities
