Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Validation Engineer at Munich Electrification, you will play a key leadership role within the Hardware Development team. You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and environmental validation and testing of automotive battery components, both in-house and with external partners. This includes managing the entire validation lifecycle, from identifying high-risk components to executing advanced validation tests and driving continuous improvements.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS AT A GLANCE

  • Define and manage the specifications for electrical and environmental tests, ensuring alignment with customer needs and risk analysis based on technologies and mission profiles.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of test equipment, harnesses, fixtures, and other materials needed for validation.
  • Manage test and laboratory resources in collaboration with project management and external partners.
  • Plan, execute, and document in-house and external validation tests, ensuring thorough and accurate reporting.
  • Lead lessons learned processes from validation and field failures, driving improvements in test methodologies and product quality.
  • Conduct structured failure analysis and provide support for root cause investigations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, teaching best practices, and helping them develop their skills.
