ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree focused on technology, commerce, economics, entrepreneurship, administration or management; or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum five (5) years recent and related experience in external relations, strategic community development, business development, stakeholder relations and/or venture management, with a combination of project, program, and product management
  • Significant customer service experience is required including confidence working with high performing teams and multiple stakeholders including senior technology executives and angel investors
  • Significant experience in event planning and project coordination
  • Demonstrated work experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem with startups, technology companies, or venture capital is preferred, including a strong understanding of business models and drivers of success in startups
  • Entrepreneurial and highly motivated with a strong interest in startups and venture capital
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work effectively in a complex, dynamic, and sophisticated organization
  • Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and maturity in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously; strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills including GSuite and Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of social media and emerging communications technologies (i.e. Slack, Airtable, Salesforce)
