We are looking for a Senior Vice President and Head of the Business Line Neuro Solutions to lead the global development and execution of a successful business line strategy, driving profitable growth in alignment with Elekta’s group strategy. This responsibility involves directly and indirectly managing and driving all critical business processes, including product lifecycle management, supply chain management, and customer relationship management. Furthermore, you will manage a cross-functional team composed of dedicated and shared resources with the responsibility to ensure overall business line visibility and execution of strategy to the customers for the Neuro Solutions Portfolio. The position is part of the broader Executive Management team of Elekta and reports to the President Neuro and Brachy Solutions who is part of Elekta’s Executive Committee. In order to succeed in this role, you need to lead by example. You should be a strong communicator who can motivate your team by setting a clear and inspiring vision for the future, developing strategies, and providing guidance on how to achieve these goals together.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the global business line Neuro Solutions overviewing the full P&L, including orders, sales, margins, and EBIT
  • Strategically develop and manage the business line for profitable growth, formulating and executing strategy with the team
  • Lead innovation and development based on customer needs, manage product life-cycle and portfolio, develop product roadmaps, ensure system-level thinking and drive customer satisfaction, all in line with Elekta’s guidelines
  • Develop and execute Supply Chain Management using dedicated and shared resources to optimizing margins and manage product lifecycles to counter market price changes
  • Collaborates with other global leaders at Elekta for process excellence and resource sharing, ensuring a shared quality mindset and driving measurable quality improvements
  • Collaborate with regional teams to drive business-model innovation and develop commercial plans based on geographical growth plans, using direct and indirect sales approaches

What you bring

  • University degree within a relevant field, preferably an advanced degree
  • 10 years of relevant business experience in related industries
  • Experience in leading the P&L accountability in a global matrix organization
  • Business leadership experience in the Medical Device industry or other regulated sectors with a proven track record of driving successful transformations and impactful change
  • Preferably experience from roles where you worked cross-functionally within commercial, technology, product, and operations
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Availability to travel frequently
