REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 years’ experience in QC
• Electronics industry experience is essential.
• In depth understanding of quality control and inspection procedures of electronic components and products in an ESD controlled environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization Skills
• Ability to work fast in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of ESD control practices/ ISO 9001 quality system is a plus
• Knowledge of precision measuring devised is helpful
• MS Office, strong internet researching skills also required

• Visually inspect parts before being shipped to customers – checking for correct part, part number, quantity, any potential damage, etc.
• Interpret spec sheet, measure dimensions, and perform inspection using optical scopes
• Generate discrepancy reports
• Tape and reel duties
• Interface with procurement specialists and account reps to resolve any issues with material received or shipped
• Maintain involved equipment/tools/accessories in the QC area
• Support operations in day to day activities
• Utilize/ search on manufacturers information including but not limited to spec sheet, part marking, PCNs. etc.
• Assists to summarize/put together work instructions involved in the QC area/inspection process
• Communicates confidently and effectively with peers, and other departments from different offices.
• Makes independent decisions within defined parameters.
• Provide training and assistance to QC Specialist and Electronic Component Inspector.
• Report on quality issues to supervisors/ managers in a timely manner.
