WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Vancouver-based engineering team to work on local and international mining and resource projects. Your experience will be applied to the planning, investigation, assessment, design, and construction of tailings and water dams and waste storage for mining. Career development can be managed to support personal preferences such as niche, technical design specialists, or project participation in both technical dam engineering scopes and project management, or all-round engineering specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients, colleagues, and suppliers on environmentally focused field programs and design solutions
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis including flood mapping, water balance analysis, and hydraulic modelling
  • Incorporate climate change resiliency in hydrological and hydraulic analysis
  • Support mine water management design and optimization
  • Build client rapport as projects progress from feasibility through to mine closure
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate water management systems into overall design and operation
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and other documentation related to water resources engineerin
