Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience as a Web Designer or similar role
  • Experience in the use of web-based applications including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (After Effects preferred, but not essential)
  • Working knowledge of Social Media, e-Commerce as well as mobile web and techniques such as responsive design and build are preferable
  • Undertaken a multi-media degree/diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the Salesforce platform is preferred but not essential
  • Front end skills including HTML, CSS & Javascript
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital design and innovation

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled, creative, fun and hardworking Senior Web Designer to join our eCommerce & Marketing Team. This is a newly created role for our Peter Alexander brand supporting their expansion into the UK!
Reporting to the eCommerce & Digital Operations Manager, the core elements of the role include design of websites, mobile and email content. You will also be a key team member of the rapidly growing Online Team, and have access to the abundance of resources and knowledge that comes with being a part of a large team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design content for websites and email campaigns, catalogues, landing pages, site banners and social media
  • Update website imagery, copy and content managed functions
  • Develop new design ideas for websites and pro-actively develop new concepts and tools to communicate brand personality online
  • Maintain online content and functions, ensuring the content is visually consistent with brand values and direction
  • Design and build website and email content following style guides and creative direction of marketing campaigns and collections
  • Provide creative and technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for successful implementation of all projects, managing tight deadlines and allocating resources effectively
