Senior Wireless Specialist
Reporting to the Manager, Network Services, the Senior Wireless Specialist is responsible for leading the design, deployment, and optimization of ground breaking wireless networks based on Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA). They will have a strong background in Cisco technologies, including DNA Center, alongside a deep understanding of wireless communication systems! This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams towards ensuring the seamless, secure, and high-performance wireless solutions for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in wireless network design, deployment, and problem solving
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center and associated technologies
  • Preferred certifications include: Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Wireless Design, Enterprise Core, CCNP-W, Ekahau or similar RF design certifications
  • Experience with Physical and Cloud based Cisco IOS based Wireless LAN Control Systems (9800 Series) and Cisco Wireless Access Points (9xxx Series)
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco DNA, including Assurance, Automation, and Policy Enforcement
  • Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 standards), RF fundamentals including Wifi 7 , and network design principles
  • Familiarity with network protocols, security standards, and QoS
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
