Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Location: Chelmsford
ECL’s incredible Sensory team have a fantastic opportunity for a Co-ordination Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The team are passionate to exceed their objective of developing a society where people with sensory impairments have the same access to services and businesses as everyone else.
As a Co-ordination Officer, you’ll be an integral part of the team, acting as first point of contact for all sensory enquiries, utilising strong communication skills to adapt as required to resolve customer requests. You’ll become familiar with and develop a detailed understanding of the sensory pathways and support systems available to be able to effectively triage customers.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE OF SENSORY CO-ORDINATION OFFICER WITH ECL, YOU NEED:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt based on customer requirements.
- Experience of working in a setting with direct sensory customer contact.
- Excellent digital & IT skills including use of text, phone, e-mail, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Ability to use telephony and data retrieval systems.
- Experience of producing reports using Excel.
- Experience of accessing information sources, both electronically and paper based.
- Ability to work as part of a team demonstrating flexibility.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
