PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Overall work experience of 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Previous background in Sensory Evaluation, from within the Fragrance industry.
  • Continuous Improvement experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Fluent in English. Speak and understand French is desirable.
  • Laboratory or QC techniques required.
  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

Working and based on your core QC expertise you will have specific responsibilities for managing a subset of activities centred around Site QC activity associated to Fine Fragrance products and raw material ingredients.
You will report to Quality Control Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead QC evaluations and troubleshooting of products and ingredients
  • Manage Analytical specific processes / tasks applicable to the Site
  • Provide technical expertise / support regarding multiple aspects of materials/processes involved in sensory, manufacturing, raw materials…
  • As a technical expert, perform sensory assessments for the materials in scope.
  • Lead the investigation in case of non-conformance (internal or external) associated with the sensory evaluation parameters.
  • Be an coach to QC staff.
  • Lead improvements in QC processes and set proactive measure to prevent issues.
