As the SEO Account Manager, you’ll be the primary contact for clients in our SEO program, helping contractors achieve their online marketing goals by simplifying SEO communication and ensuring a smooth process between clients and our SEO team.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As part of our team, here’s what you’ll do:
- Client Success Account Manager: Act as the primary client liaison throughout the SEO journey, from onboarding to the duration of their partnership. Build strong relationships by managing expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring clients understand how SEO contributes to their business growth.
- SEO Communicator: Break down SEO performance metrics such as traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions in a way that’s easy for clients to understand, so they know the value we bring.
- SEO Strategist: Implement and execute SEO strategies in collaboration with clients and the internal team to drive success.
- Growth Advocate: Identify opportunities for upsells or additional services based on client needs and SEO potential, ensuring continued value and minimizing churn.
We don’t just want “anyone” for the role because that would do this role a disservice. Here’s what we’re eager to see in you:
- Client-Facing Experience: With 1-2 years in client-facing roles, you’re proactive in building trust and maintaining strong relationships. You keep clients informed and ensure they always know who to contact.
- SEO Expertise: With at least 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, you understand the fundamentals of on-page optimization, keyword research, technical SEO, and analytics.
- Marketing Simplifier: You can simplify complex SEO concepts into digestible insights for clients who may not be familiar with the technical side of SEO.
- Relationship-Driven: You are motivated by helping clients grow their businesses through effective SEO strategies.
- Ahrefs and BrightLocal (Preferred): If you’ve used Ahrefs and BrightLocal or similar SEO software, you’ll have a leg up in managing progress and client communications
