Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedSEODirector to lead and execute a comprehensiveSEOstrategy that drives growth and visibility for our brand. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in localSEOtargeting, structured data implementation, externalSEOplanning, social media management, technicalSEO, SERPoptimization, funneloptimization, content marketing for services, and experience with email and text marketing campaigns. TheSEODirector will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our online presence, improve organicsearchperformance, and drive business goals through strategicSEOinitiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) inSEO, with a track record of leadership and successful campaigns.
  • Expertise in localSEO, SERPoptimization, structured data, and externalSEOstrategies.
  • Experience in content marketing for service-based businesses.
  • Strong background in developing and optimizing email and text marketing campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of technicalSEO, social media integration, and content marketing.
  • Familiarity withSEOtools such as Google Analytics, GoogleSearchConsole, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Experience with web development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the latestSEOtrends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in managing large-scaleSEOprojects or teams.
  • Familiarity with conversion rateoptimization(CRO) and funnel marketing.
  • Certifications inSEOor digital marketing are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar degree

Responsibilities:

1.LocalSEOTargeting:

  • Develop and implement localizedSEOstrategies to enhance visibility in specific regions.
  • Optimize Google My Business and other local listings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor localsearchrankings and continuously adapt strategies to improve positioning.
  • Utilize geo-targeting tactics and manage location-specific content to attract local customers.

2.Structured Data Implementation:

  • Lead the integration of structured data (Schema markup) to enhancesearchengineunderstanding of the site.
  • Ensure correct implementation of rich snippets and other advancedsearchfeatures (e.g., FAQ, breadcrumbs, product data).
  • Monitor the impact of structured data onsearchperformance and recommend improvements.

3.SERPOptimization:

  • Optimize for visibility acrossSearchEngineResults Pages (SERPs), including featured snippets, knowledge panels, and other enhancedsearchfeatures.
  • Ensure effective use of meta titles, descriptions, and rich media to improve click-through rates (CTR) and rankings.
  • Analyze SERP layouts and continuously adapt strategies to improve organic visibility against competitors.
  • Use tools to track and monitor SERP features and adjustSEOefforts to capture moresearchreal estate.

4.ExternalSEOPlan:

  • Oversee externalSEOactivities including link-building, digital PR, and partnerships to improve domain authority.
  • Conduct regular audits of the backlink profile, ensuring a high-quality and diverse link portfolio.
  • Manage outreach campaigns to secure high-authority backlinks and brand mentions.
  • Track and measure the impact of off-pageSEOinitiatives on organic traffic and rankings.

5.Social Media Management & Integration:

  • Collaborate with the social media team to align content and promotional strategies withSEOgoals.
  • Ensure social media channels contribute toSEOby optimizing profiles, posts, and integrating keyword strategies.
  • Monitor social signals and their impact onsearchenginerankings, providing actionable insights to improve visibility.

6.TechnicalSEO:

  • Lead technicalSEOaudits to identify issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and speed.
  • Implement solutions for improving website performance, including mobileoptimization, page speed enhancements, and fixing broken links.
  • Collaborate with web development teams to ensure bestSEOpractices are adhered to in site design and new feature rollouts.
  • Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes and emerging technicalSEOtrends to keep the site ahead of competitors.

7.FunnelOptimization:

  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to createSEOstrategies that optimize every stage of the conversion funnel.
  • Analyze user behavior and traffic patterns to refineSEOefforts that improve lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Ensure landing pages are optimized forsearchengines and conversions through A/B testing, content refinement, and keywordoptimization.

8.Content Marketing for Services:

  • Lead the development and execution of content marketing strategies specifically tailored for service-based offerings.
  • Create, manage, and optimize service-focused content such as case studies, white papers, blogs, and service pages.
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure that all service-related content is aligned withSEOand user intent.
  • Perform keyword research and content gap analysis to identify opportunities for service-related content that drives traffic and leads.
  • Ensure content is optimized for bothsearchengines and conversions, balancing informational value with business objectives.

9.Email & Text Marketing Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop email and SMS campaigns that align withSEOand overall digital marketing strategies.
  • Ensure that email and text marketing content is optimized for engagement, delivering relevant and keyword-targeted messages.
  • Track and analyze the performance of email and SMS campaigns, measuring their impact on website traffic,SEOmetrics, and conversions.
  • Integrate email and SMS strategies into the overallSEOand funneloptimizationefforts to increase engagement and drive conversions.

10.Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned withSEOgoals, focusing on high-quality, keyword-optimized content.
  • Collaborate with content writers and creators to produceSEO-friendly blogs, articles, videos, and other formats.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and optimize based on traffic, engagement, and conversion data.
