With a rapidly expanding product range and market presence, we’re seeking a dynamic SEO Specialist to fuel our momentum. As we embark on an exciting website replatform, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our site is optimised for search engines, enhancing user experience, and driving organic traffic. YOUR IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years’ of proven experience in SEO (e-commerce sector desirable)
• Knowledge of Google’s product suite & other relevant tools including but not limited to Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and crawling tools.
• Basic HTML is a must, JSS/CSS knowledge is highly advantageous
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who craves ownership, responsibility, and outcomes
• Ability to analyse data and use analytics to compile SEO reports.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work required to achieve outcomes
• Enjoys learning new things and passionate about the digital industry in general
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills: demonstrated ability to work closely with others, both within and across functions to achieve shared objectives
• A strong passion for the pet category is highly desirable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• On-Page SEO:
• Enhance SEO-friendliness of key pages (both transactional and non-transactional) measured by non-branded organic visit growth and conversion.
• Conduct regular SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Internal link optimization.
• Optimise website content, meta tags, images, and URLs to improve search visibility.
• Ensure all on-page elements follow SEO best practices and are aligned with the latest algorithms.
• Off-page SEO:
• Identify relevant link acquisition opportunities to drive site authority.
• Monitor and manage the website’s backlink profile to ensure quality and relevance.

ROLE LOCATION

At Pet Circle we believe that collaboration and team connection is key for success. This role will be based in Sydney with a blended working arrangement of up to 4 days per week in our pet friendly offices and the remainder working from home (or the office, if you prefer!) Our working arrangements and your required office day are subject to change in line with business requirements.
