About the role
As a growing drug discovery organisation, we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, talented individuals keen to carry out their year-long industrial placements beginning in August 2025. These will take place at our facilities located in Nottingham.
The successful individual will work in an industry leading Separation Science group, whose primary role is to support and deliver purified compounds to the UK’s leading medicinal chemistry department.
As a Separation Science IP student at Sygnature Discovery, you will work alongside and learn from our dedicated team of chromatographers. The role is predominantly lab-based, and you will work on live client compounds alongside automation and efficiency dedicated projects.
Your mentor will also stay in regular contact with your academic supervisor to ensure all course requirements for the placement are met.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• Enrolled on a Chemistry degree program with a “Year in Industry” component
• Strong interest in analytical science
• Equipped with excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work well within a team environment
