Description:

Job description
We are looking for dynamic, innovative and inspirational leaders who have the ability and are motivated to drive success.
It is our clear vision to deliver an outstanding service we can all be proud of to the communities of Nottinghamshire.
Our communities need to trust us to do the right thing for the right reasons, be transparent and accountable in all we do and work together to find resolutions to the issues that affect them.
We work tirelessly to ensure that victims are at the heart of all we do, that we respond effectively, conduct investigations to the highest standards and find an appropriate resolution to their calls for service.
We are looking for committed individuals who share our ambition to deliver our Proud to Serve Pledge.
We are looking for credible, motivated individuals who will be able to lead their teams through the challenges of policing, build successful relationships with partners and the community and uphold our organisational standards. Our leaders must embody and promote the force’s PROUD values. With strong and visible leadership skills, you will be dynamic, innovative and resilient in your journey to lead your team to success.
Working collaboratively with our partners, you will create a credible and professional environment which promotes diversity and enhances service delivery.
Applications are invited from substantive Constables who are appropriately qualified (NPPF Step 2 or Ospre Part 1 & 2), and substantive Sergeants wishing to transfer to Nottinghamshire Police.
Applications are now open on the recruitment portal and the closing date for applications is 23:59hrs 15th November 2024. Please allow sufficient time for first and second line management to complete their sections of the application form. Late applications will not be accepted. For external applicants, it is expected that you have your application endorsed by your first and second line managers.
Shortlisting results will be communicated week commencing 18th November 2024 and if your application is successfully shortlisted you will be put through to the next stage of the process and you will be sent an email from your recruitment account.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place between 2nd and 13th December 2024.
Please note that applications and subsequent interviews will be based on the Competency and Values Framework (CVF). Please note that the College of Policing revised the CVF in April 2024 and the revised framework is being utilised through this promotion process.
