Server/Bartender

at  The Albion

The Albion is looking for an experienced server.
We intend on hiring someone who will work with us for many years, and is willing to grow with us, as we are beginning to re-open after 4 years of renovations.
We are fostering a healthy, safe and inclusive environment, which needs to be exemplified by the person we choose as a server. They need to be empathetic with the range of guests who will be in our attendance, and must have a firm understanding of the vision we have created in the newest incarnation of The Albion.
The Albion has stairs and two patios. Read that last sentence again before applying. Working at the Albion can be very physically demanding, but it can also be the perfect job for the person that wants that exercise.
Our clientele have been patrons for years, as The Albion has been in existence since 1856. The ability to know the history of Guelph and talk with our guests about it is key. They will need to feel welcomed back to a place that they feel they own, as they have invested years making memories there, and many more to come. We want a server who understands this.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 50 per week
