Robert’s Farm Equipment is currently seeking a Service Writer at our Walton, ON location!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
• Ability to read and match part numbers, pricing, and dates with high numerical accuracy
• Ability to read and understand service contracts
• Strong aptitude for numbers and strong analytical skills
• Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor, respect and commitment to service excellence
• Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with other employees as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Creates and maintains work orders and submits to manager for approval
• Closes work orders once customer payments have been processes
• Contacts customers in regards to bill payments and invoicing and organizes payment process
• Manages schedules for service technicians to ensure adequate time for each work order
• Troubleshoots computer and cell phone technical issues for employees and technicians
• Organizes scheduled maintenance for service vehicles
• Submits warranty claims to Warranty Administrator with all proper paperwork and attachments
• Submits invoices and receipts to Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy in compensation
• Verifies and adjusts technician time scans and submits to the payroll department
• Tracks parts and equipment inventory; updates sold equipment list for follow ups
• Prepares traffic sheets for drivers to ensure proper equipment is being trucked
• Discusses job status with technicians to determine approximate completion of repairs and parts required
• Monitors technician uniform inventory and ensures correct number of coveralls have been supplied for the week
