Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As a FinOps Associate, you will be an integral part of our FinOps operations team, supporting the management of cloud-related expenses, usage, and processes. Your role will involve collaborating with senior FinOps professionals and assisting in analyzing cloud usage data, tracking budgets, participating in process improvement initiatives. By contributing to cost analysis and operational efficiency, you help shape the future of financial operations in the cloud environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assists in analyzing cloud usage data and preparing reports.
  • Monitor usage of cloud services and resources to increase efficiency and reduce unnecessary spending.
  • Assist on the development and implementation of strategies to optimize costs without sacrificing quality or performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional team to guide them in implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Work closely with IT professionals to support them on financial matters and improve operational efficiency.
  • Helps track budgets and contributes to financial forecasts.
  • Assist in ensuring that all technology expenses, contracts, and agreements are in line with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
  • Support initiatives to educate team members on the latest cost-saving techniques and strategies in the IT industry.
  • Stay current with developments in cloud services, hardware, and software, ensuring company technology investments are cost-effective and aligned with business objectives.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives.
