Description:

The Service Consultant, Client Partnerships, reporting to the Manager, Client Partnerships will be responsible for providing service excellence to our mid/large size national group benefit clients. Providing your block of clients with a variety of solutions will take many forms ranging from critical evaluation of the current programs and providers in place, support through changes, new implementations, onboarding, customized communications and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare specifications working with clients, consultants, and carriers for marketing purposes
  • Be accountable for the smooth transition of benefits to new carriers ensuring any client risk and exposure is mitigated (i.e. plan mapping, member coverage, communication)
  • Coordinate carrier finalist presentations
  • Conduct and/or peer review employee presentations
  • Create and review benefit summaries for accuracy
  • Peer review contract, booklet and collective agreement differences and identify risk exposure
  • Resolve and address escalated client issues & inquires with the employee, employer and/or carrier
  • Process amendments and employee presentations/communications
  • Create and update Benefits at a Glance, and other internal and external reference materials
  • Identify areas related to your clients by understanding and remaining current with carrier communication, changes to legislation, and CLHIA guidelines
  • Client meetings, virtual and in person, along with employee presentations will be necessary
  • Assist on specific projects, initiatives, and research
  • Provide and coordinate support for consultant as requested and in accordance with procedures and service agreements
  • Monitor email, voicemail, spreadsheets, and maintain filing within our CRM system as per guidelines
