Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.
Our Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Mine is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are seeking an Experienced Service Crew Operator to join our Mining Team who has the ability and demonstrated experience to perform a variety of level 1 underground mining operational functions safely and productively.
This role is a Residential role offered on a 7/7 Rotating Day/Night Roster.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair and install various mine services including ventilation ducting, air & water pipelines, dewatering pump lines and firing lines
  • Installation of secondary ventilation fans
  • Manually install and grout cable bolts and plate and tension cables
  • Transportation and delivery of underground mining consumables to assist in mine production and development activities
  • Operating Integrated Tool Carriers and Flatbed Trucks
  • Dangerous goods handling, and magazine keeping highly desirable
  • Maintenance of equipment to desired standards at all times
  • Actively participate and contribute to Job Hazard analysis and mine safety procedures at all timesAny additional tasks as directed by your supervisor
