Service Deli Assistant

at  Foodstuffs North Island

New World Pukekohe is looking for a cheerful reliable person to join our growing and lead the Service Deli team at night team.
You will work closely with the Service Deli Manager with the production schedule and Duty Manager to inform them what is going on in the department.
We are wanting to expand our production and hot meal range in the hot case while delivering exception customer service. Leading people experience would be preferred with a proven record.
You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.

Your main duties will include:

• Cooking and food preparation
• Setting up the Deli serve over hot and cold case
• Preparing night service meals
• Serving Customers in the Deli
• Cleaning
• Assist with all other duties that form part of service deli
• From time to time you may work in other areas of the supermarket
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times
• Understand food safety traceability paper work
