Job Description
- Point of Contact & Escalation for Company staff into IT
- Responsible for the execution and management of the IT Service Desk, Resolver Teams and InfoSec Security Team in the Company
- Problem Management
- Project Management experience to ensure the delivery of small projects within the IT Department.
- Proven Staff Management Skills – Direct Management and Manager Management
- Maintain and Develop IT Procedures in line with Group IT Policy
- Regular reporting to Senior Management on the status of the Service Desk and Security Teams
- Liase with Group Security and Group IT Teams as and where necessary
- Maintain Good Relationship with the SLT Team and Group Teams
- Contribute to the information security standards and supporting documents including privileged access definitions, account type/approval matrices.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to the business/IT stakeholders and understand their core business processes and business priorities which can be enhanced using IM solutions.
- Create/write highly effective internal communications.
- Liaise with Internal Audit and external regulatory body for any inspections and assessments.
- Drive organisation wide strategy and implementation plans in relation to IT and Information Security
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years of Team Management Experience
- Risk minded and aware.
- Minimum 5 years financial services experience.
- Good understanding of Audit framework and methodology.
- Strong knowledge of tools, processes and capabilities to drive enhanced control improvements
- In depth knowledge of processes and procedures associated with operating an administration access help desk.
- Ideally, Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics.
