We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Service Desk.
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service Desk operations and will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s efficiency and service delivery.
EXPERIENCE :
- 2 to 5 years of experience as Service Desk
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Service Desk operations to ensure smooth and efficient IT services.
- Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and patches to maintain security and functionality.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement strategies for improving system reliability and performance.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides to support efficient operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools to enhance IT service delivery.
- Manage user accounts permissions and access controls to ensure data security and compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations to protect data and ensure availability.
- -Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Show proficiency in hardware and software installation configuration and maintenance.
