We are looking for a Service Engineer 4 Stroke to join our Field Services Team in Panama, if your profile matchs with the following, we are waiting for you:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  1. BSc. Mechanical Engineering + minimum two years of related experience, or Technical / Vocational School within mechanical field + five years of experience performing similar positions.
  2. English Level Proficiency - Intermediate (Mandatory)
  3. Teamwork experience

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan and safety-first mindset.
  2. May perform minor and major overhauls, repairs and special services on equipment, engines, its components and auxiliaries onsite and/or at workshops as per your individual development plan, following the instructions of the product manuals and technical documentations.
  3. Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
  4. Perform internal and external progress status reports of the service or assigned works as per Field Service Coordinator instructions.
  5. Create the Service Work Reports.
  6. Report periodically the working and idle hours and travel expenses as per the local instructions and corporate FS process.
  7. Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
  8. Keep a close communication with his/her line manager.
  9. Be available to attend company and customer assignments locally or abroad.
  10. Demonstrate Wärtsilä values.
  11. Comply with the established internal procedures and policies, Code of Conduct and with the Internal Work Regulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Identify, support and promote new sales opportunities during services.
  2. Identify new sales opportunities during services.
  3. Prepare and follow your Individual Development Plan in accordance with business needs and Field Services Professional Skills Management Tool (FS PSM).
