Description:
- 12-month contract full-time position available for central and southern suburbs (maternity leave cover)
- Salary Offered: $107,000 plus superannuation.
- Full salary packaging benefits (ability to sacrifice up to $15,899 per annum)
Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
The role includes management and leadership of a number of services within the Home, Living, and Lifestyle department of CSI. Providing day-to-day support and guidance in quality and service delivery, including training and support to staff in best-practice client support, teamwork, data collection, and compliance with quality assurance systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Ensuring high-quality services are delivered to clients and their families.
- Contributing to capacity building for clients within the provision of services provided to NDIS participants and alternately funded services.
- An understanding of the NDIS SIL operational guidelines and the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Leading and/or supporting in the development and implementation of individualised support plans and risk assessments to manage risk mitigations and achieve client outcomes.
- Monitoring and approving expenditure within program budgets in line with KPI’s and operational viability, including investigation, reporting, and providing advice to all relevant stakeholders to correct any variances to budget.
- Ensuring all relevant property and where applicable, DCP licencing requirements are met.
- Provide afterhours On Call support to programs operating out of business hours as part of a rotating roster for all SIL, DCP and VOC sites.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Substantial experience in leading and managing teams to achieve and sustain high performance, focused on person-centred service delivery.
- Degree level qualifications in Behavioural Science/Developmental Education, Disability, Health, Community Service Management or
- A combination of experience, expertise, and competence attained through previous appointments/study sufficient to perform the duties required at this level
- DHS Working With Children Check;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- National Police Check (NPC)
- DCP Positive Psychological Assessment (the successful candidate will be supported with this process)
