We’re lookingfor a highly experienced multi-site manager previously CQC registered, however we will certainly consider applicants with service manager experience across other service types.
As the Service Manager, you will be accountable for leading and managing the delivery of current and future complex supported living services across Coventry and Warwickshire. You will deliver compliant, high quality support that fulfils people’s lives. You will drive the organisations values of making a difference, inclusive, responsive, with not for and developing potential through your activity and that of the teams you lead.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF YOU

  • On a daily basis, lead by example, evidencing responsibility and accountability through informed decision making within all aspects of the management role.
  • Be seen…have a clear presence in the service, make use of walk arounds, observations, listen to people we employ the people we support, offer guidance and make positive change when required.
  • Manage the long-term aims and purpose of the service, with a clear line of accountability and communication, through the direct line management structure.
  • Develop the potential of the Deputy Manager and Team Leader structure through delegation, personal development, DPDs, peer mentoring approach and role responsibilities (relevant to the Team Leader job description)
  • Anticipate knowledge gaps & upskill your team to ensure we deliver the best Support we can. Create the environment for learning & development. Encourage engagement in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in adult care.
  • Create an inclusive service culture where the People We Employ and included and are aware that they are making a difference to the lives of the people we support.

Responsibilities:

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • You will have leadership experience gained within a managerial role preferably from within a health and social care setting.
  • A minimum level 4 qualification [or equivalent] with a willingness to work towards level 5 qualification
  • A drivers license and access to a vehicle
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with the people we support, people we employ and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Forward thinking, able to use own initiative and innovation to develop the service.
  • A commitment to evidencing Millennium Supports Values within all aspects of the role and future planning
  • Ability to develop a longer term vision for services & evidence positive outcomes for the people we support.
