Description:
- Permanent - 80 hours per fortnight, including involvement in an on-call roster
- $76,053 per annum + on call allowance
- Office base in Papakura - but our Counties service area covers Papakura, Takanini, Waiuku and Pukekohe
- Work vehicle, phone and laptop provided

We are looking for a real ‘people’ person, to build strong relationships with the people we support and their whānau. You will identify individual needs and determine how these can best be achieved. This is meaningful work where you can be creative and make every day interesting in ways that really make a difference in people’s lives.
You will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of Support Workers to deliver the best possible outcomes for the people we support. We are looking for someone with the passion and expertise to coach and develop the skills within their team of Support Workers.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and ensuring delivery of support services for people with disabilities
- Managing and developing a strong team of Support Workers
- Building positive relationships with whānau including their involvement in the care of their loved ones
- Planning and coordinating the work of your team to ensure the best service outcomes are achieved (including rostering and staff training)
- Celebrating the achievements of the people we support
- Implementing best practice strategies and managing health & safety requirements
