JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Service Manager (Edmonton)
Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
Bonuses: Eligible
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and supervising the security operations for the Edmonton Branch. This includes ensuring the safety and security of clients, employees, and assets, managing a team of security personnel, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily security operations within client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Maintain and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Client Relations:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review security needs and performance.
  • Develop and present security reports to clients.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist with the management of the branch budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor and control expenses related to security operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the branch territory.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and secure new contracts.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure all security activities are documented accurately.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to regional management.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in security management or with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software.
  • Valid G license - with a clean drivers abstract.

Work Environment:

  • The Service Manager may need to respond to emergency situations outside of normal working hours.
  • The position involves both office work and on-site visits.
