What is the job role?
Working as part of the Adult Services Business Systems and Improvement team the successful candidate will lead and manage operational support functions and administration and management of services operating within multi-agency and community settings, helping Coventry Adult Social Care services to deliver the best outcomes for our diverse communities. You will work flexibly to manage an everchanging and varied workload within a demanding environment and directly contribute to the management of Adult Social Care to maximise the use of resources.
You will promote and develop effective inclusive partnership working with a range of partners, particularly NHS commissioning and provider services, other statutory agencies and third sector organisations. Including the development of new service initiatives to improve local service delivery and outcomes for adults and carers.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering the best services for adults living in Coventry, working in partnership with a range of teams and organisations in the spirit our One Coventry Values and Plan.
A confident communicator who has strong leadership skills to deliver results within challenging circumstances whilst maintaining a positive outlook. You will have at least three years management experience with health or social care services for adults / older people and be able to produce reports, data and information for a variety of purposes and audiences. You will also have experience of administering large scale Case Management Record Systems and programmes of change.
The role will offer opportunities to further develop your knowledge and expertise with support for learning, study and undertaking training to enhance this.
