We are looking for a kind, creative and motivated individual to lead our new Young Peoples Services in Cardiff.
Within out contract we have…
- Northlands – 29 bed young persons Life House
- Ty Diogel – 8 bed young persons supported accommodation
- Column Road – 6 bed Life House for unaccompanied asylum seekers
- Young Peoples Floating Support – Floating Support for 12-18 young people
We work aim to work in a psychologically informed and trauma informed framework, supporting up to 106 young people experiencing homelessness, at any one time. We aim to deliver a ‘zero evictions’ approach offering empathy, compassion and understanding. We help young people to gain confidence, life skills and positively move onto independent living.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To lead a team supporting young people living across multiple sites in Cardiff
- To oversee an engaging programme of meaningful activities to provide structure and purpose for young people
- To enhance key local partnerships and deliver quality progress reporting to our Young Peoples Contract Manager and other internal stakeholders.
