Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent serves as a developer and system administrator of UCI Health’s ServiceNow environment. Works with UCI Health’s departments to assess current state processes, gather requirements, and define potential ServiceNow solutions. Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end services within the ServiceNow platform (implementation, configuration, support, maintenance, operations, etc.). Provides day-to-day administration of the application, serves as a point of contact for customer issues, develops training materials and provides in-service sessions as necessary.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification or relevant experience (must be able to demonstrate and document expertise)
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
  • Knowledge of HTML or XML
  • Knowledge of Engineering and Project Management Life Cycles
  • Experience with REST API development
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and five years of relevant experience in IT Service Delivery, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision on projects including configurations, installation and maintenance
  • Ability to skillfully react to a fluid and constantly changing work environment
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to generate roadmaps to include systems development life cycle (SDLP)
  • Ability to gather business requirements and communicate with technical staff
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across IT and management staff
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with clients, peers and management
  • 3-5 years experience of Service-Now development and configuration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer or similar responsibility
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
