Premier proudly serves Southern Ontario with 9 locations (Alliston, Ayr, Elmira, Listowel, Ospringe, Tavistock, Smithville, Norwich and Stouffville), offering a robust parts inventory and over 90 technicians able to provide service and maintenance.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively direct and promote teamwork, cooperation and customer satisfaction.
  • A natural mechanical proficiency along with knowledge of diagnostic equipment and specialized tools is required.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with John Deere and competitor’s products.
  • Must demonstrate the skill and knowledge required to direct repair work.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collectively with the entire Service Office to ensure Teamwork.
  • Assists in the appraisal of work orders coming into the Service Department, reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution for technicians and all internal and external customers, ensuring healthy relationships.
  • Assist the Service Manager with technician recruitment and training.
  • Assist the Service Manager in all aspects of the Service Department.
  • Support Service department with verifying and securing parts.
  • Resolve customer complaints relative to service with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Control and maintain proper paper flow in the Service Department.
  • Support Customer Service and Corporate initiatives.
  • Assist the Service Manager with the control of lost time.
  • Work towards reducing overall departmental expenses, while achieving margin goals.
  • Ensures all service Warranty and Product Improvement Programs are completed and submitted to the Warranty Administrator within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit.
  • Quote used equipment reconditioning to the Sales department.
  • Support the University of Guelph service work and schedule deliveries.
  • Monitor all ExpertAlerts and ensure they are looked after in a timely manner.
