Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
- 10 + years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
- French and English (spoken and reading - functional level in order to follow American manufacturers’ warranty repair processesunctional level) ;
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license (class 1 - bonus);
- Possess a tool box as well as your enrolment to the Comité Paritaire d’Automobiles (CPA)
Responsibilities:
- Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles;
- Diagnose and repair the pneumatic system, the electrical system and the cabin elements;
- Carry out repairs on all vehicle components;
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
- Perform scheduled maintenance services such as; oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups
