As the Service Specialist you will be responsible for end-to-end quote-to-order delivery to customers across various process industries (such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Energy, Power and Renewables) within Emerson Systems & Software Lifecycle Services business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Preferred experience in commercial and sales support activities or in the process automation field for various industries
  • Willingness to travel mainly for shorter periods (up to 10%) as required

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Customer Relations – ensure understanding, managing and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company’s partners through remote communication or site visits
  • Quote-to-Order Execution – take ownership of the assigned Technical and Commercial Quote-to-Order scope delivery within Emerson Systems & Software Lifecycle Services business portfolio, following the standard process; ensure the innovative and cost-effective solutions are proposed; proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality; ensure partners are proactively informed on the status or any challenges
  • Knowledge Sharing – acquire, maintain, and actively share knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization; support on-the-job development of other Service Specialists
  • Take other responsibilities or tasks , including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • University degree
  • French language - at the least B1 level, proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
