As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical Background: Food equipment industry experience desirable but not essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor / coordinator to lead our team of service technicians at our Townsville site. Reporting to the FN Qld Service Manager, the role is supervisory, but some hands-on work may be required to assist with customer needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technicians are adequately resourced to complete their tasks, overseeing daily operations, monitoring service quality, and ensuring efficiencies of the field team are maintained. This role requires a good electrical or technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and Lead: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of service technicians to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor quality control processes to ensure that service standards meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Training and Development: Assist development for service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns, providing solutions and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, service metrics, and any other relevant KPIs.
  • Coordinate: Allocate the work to the technicians so that they work in an efficient and timely manner. Contacting the customer and qualifying the call. Ensuring customers are notified and kept up to date with expected time on site.
  • Evaluating: Basic client reports. Managing works in progress (liaising with subcontractors, technicians, suppliers and parts orders)
