SMALL ENGINE TECHNICIAN

Agriterra Equipment is one of North America’s largest AGCO dealers. Representing exceptional brands, including Massey Ferguson, Cub Cadet, Stihl, and Toro. We have grown from 3 locations (in 2013) to 12 and have been consistently in AGCO North America’s Circle of Excellence Top 20 dealer group.
We are looking for an exceptional Small Engine Technician to join our team in Sherwood Park. Experience as a Small Engine Technician, would be preferred.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • We are looking for a Small Engine Equipment Technician, (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications).
  • Someone that has experience with sub compact acreage equipment and small engine equipment would be a bonus
  • Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges.
  • Someone who is Proficient with computer and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Working on a wide range of acreage equipment and brands such as:
  • Massey Ferguson, Cub Cadet, Stihl, & Toro products and more;
  • Sub compact acreage equipment with lawn and garden equipment and a large variety of handheld products.
  • Working on diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment.
  • Responsible for needing to complete pre-season inspections and updates to equipment.
  • Involved in Manufacturer training.
  • Completing detailed notes on work orders and making recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment.
  • Completing work in the shop and/or field as needed.
  • Demonstrate and be knowledgeable in diagnostic processes
  • assume other tasks as required bu our store
