Description:
This is a great opportunity to join one of Irelands leading Agricultural Machinery Companies as a Service Technician in our busy site in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on world-renowned Agricultural Machinery brands including John Deere, Lemken and Kramer.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Service Technician
Experience performing service repairs is essential.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to operate machinery, perform diagnostics and carry out repairs.
Good customer relationship skills.
Excellent teamworking mentality.
Apprentice Technician
Leaving Certificate required.
Experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry.
Experience with farm machinery an advantage.
Good customer relationship skills.
Excellent teamworking mentality.
Training and support will be provided, and remuneration will be discussed during the interview process
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
Maintain a clean work-station and assist with the overall upkeep of the workshop and correct use of tools and vehicles.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Participate in demos and training activities when required.
Possible travel to the UK/Germany/Italy for training and developing skills & knowledge on the products that we carry.
Travel to perform diagnostics and repairs off-site, when required.
Ensure all administration relating to work is completed i.e. job cards, timesheets etc.
Perform pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment.
Mentor apprentices.
