REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical/Trade Qualification
• Auto-Electrical Qualification/Experience highly regarded
• Open HR Licence (required)
• Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
• Gantry Crane Licence (highly regarded)

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in computer use and applicable software
• Must be willing to travel to various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin, for breakdowns, as required
• Local to the Mackay region

We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and reliable Service Technician to join our ever-growing team.

Duties include:

• Supervising and managing the workshop and fleet
• Provide supervision and training to the Apprentice
• Service and maintenance of vehicle fleet, including trucks and light vehicles
• Service and general maintenance of various additional equipment, including vacuum and water pressure units, pumps, and generators etc.
• Maintain appropriate fleet and servicing records
• Collecting and organising parts (if required)
• Pre-mobilisation checks to ensure vehicles are ready to take to site
• Paint and body work
• Other general and workshop duties

This position would suit someone looking for a full-time, 45-50 hour work week:

• Monday to Friday - 6:00AM to 5:00PM (working hours negotiable)
• Some weekend work may be required
