Do you have hands-on mechanical, hydraulic or electrical experience and would like to work on service of wind turbines? Join Vestas as a Service Technician (f/m/d) and work with innovative technologies around 100 meters and more above the ground. Become a part of Vestas Department Special Task.
This Vestas Onshore Service department is mainly responsible for exchange of gearboxes, generators and other main components on wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or degree within electricity or mechanics. You are also eager to develop your skills within these areas
• Professional experience in this area
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
• Driver’s license class B, in our desire BE

• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines
• Responsible for electrical and mechanical operations
• To improve the wind turbine performance, the activities also include upgrades and rebuilds
• Use of our systems such as Condition Monitoring / Remote Control, creating follow up orders. The documentation of the work is done on modern digital devices
• You will work with high voltage
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of Technicians (f/m/d) working throughout the region
• Main tasks will be to replace and repair main/large components on wind turbines in accordance with Vestas specifications
• Working in a team consisting of at least 2 people. Depending on the complexity of the task, you will also often work in teams of up to 8 technicians
