- Use past experience in the construction industry
- Advanced knowledge of assigned discipline of skilled labour
- Ability to interpret literature and perform necessary required repair method
- Broad knowledge of scheduling and general requirements of construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction costs
- Computer literate – working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills – oral and written

Responsibilities:
II. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Service Technician will be responsible to compete skilled labour work in a professional, high quality, efficient manner and ensure the necessary systems and procedures that are in place and implemented in the image of Pine Glen.
III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare for workday ahead of time
- Prepare required tools and materials for workday ahead
- Work efficiently
- Providing skilled labour with high quality
- Construction related skills (frame, tape, plaster, trim, paint, floor, mechanical)
- Ensure site & working conditions are in accordance to Ontario H&S standards & practices
- Leave work area tidy at the end of each work day
- Communicate with supervisor daily on work status
- Display a positive attitude
IV. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains shop inventory
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
