About the Role: As a Service Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on water safety in communities. Servicing drinking water treatment plants, you’ll be traveling to different sites across the district, right at the forefront of this mission. Whether it’s inspecting, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment, no two days will be the same as you work independently to ensure water quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting preventative and remedial maintenance on water treatment equipment at various sites across the district.
- Installing and commissioning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Providing commissioning support for upgrades and installations, ensuring seamless integration of new systems.
- Collaborating with the regional team to ensure all service territories are adequately covered, supporting each other as needed.
- Upholding a commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of work.
